Our history.

In 1978, Rich Piereth began his journey in the pool and spa industry by working for a local distribution company in northern Illinois. As the years progressed, his career would include stops in construction, manufacturing, sales representation and national sales management. In 2004, after 26 years of skilled service, Rich started his own Chicagoland firm and Piereth Sales Associates was born. His oldest son, Kevin, was alongside for the company’s launch and their rapidly growing sales organization, known today as PSA, became an industry leader.

At its inception, the priority of the firm was to establish long standing relationships with each of the vendors they partnered. Careful consideration was taken early on, to ensure efforts were effectively dedicated to each of the top-notch product lines they represented. This product diversity has become the gold standard and has led to some of the longest lasting vendor relationships in both the pool and spa & outdoor casual furniture industries.
